This is a walk around of my 1963 Corvette String Ray! I restored most of the engine myself and everything is in MINT condition and might be looking to sell soon for something else! Don’t know what else I’d get though. You should help me with decisions. There will be much more pertaining…

Great talk with the owner of this cool car! Only 5 were made originally…this is a reproduction, but it has evidently been around. I saw it before at Old Town, this has had astronauts riding in it, and the signatures on the glove box door are designers of the Corvette and famous car guys, like Dennis Gage. Just the look of this car is exciting…an amazing addition to any car show!

The split window coupe has to go down in Corvette history as one of the most desirable Corvettes ever! This one is a perfect example! Our family doctor had one of these when they first came out! What a car!

Paint Work 1963 Corvette Roadster

A National AACA winner! This split window vette is as good as it gets! Little did they know in 1963 that this would be the only year for the split back window! My doctor had a brand new one of these at the time…he always showed good judgment, not only in medicine, but in cars!

This is certainly a beautiful example of the first year of the Sting Ray! The owner told me about the factory prep for air conditioning…and that it was deleted at the last moment. That is one of the many stories of the assembly line that could be told! The side pipes are a perfect accent for this car..although not available from the factory that year. It was interesting too that a soft top was never part of the equipment for this car…it came with the fiberglass hardtop
