Harley Earl’s personal 1963 Corvette convertible was offered for sale at the 2009 Bloomington Gold Auction. Although the bidding reached 5000, the Corvette was a no sale. Reserve was set at .3 million.

Harley Earl’s 1963 Corvette Sells for $925000

At Mecum’s Spring Classic in Indianapolis, a capacity crowd witnessed the Harley Early 1963 Corvette convertible sell for 5000. Bidding was strong throughout the auction but slowed at 0000. In the end it was Terry Michaelis of Proteam Corvette who registered the final bid to win the unique Corvette that was given to Earl following his retirement from General Motors.
